My 7th project was inspired by Prey.
This game was made in 9 weeks. It was made in native C++ code in our own engine that was further refined during the project.


I worked on the implementation on the menus and the UI for our network message system. I worked closely with our designers on how it should work. There was a lot of iteration on how the menus worked and what should be included in it. The UI was iterated on several times and this made the development longer and better. 

As the project was nearing its release date, I was tweaking the menus on their positioning and the hit boxes for the interaction with the mouse. Getting it pixel perfect was a challenge and when it was there it was a relief.
